Why 1 Handed Hair Ties?

Here at Handibandi, we aim to empower those who need a helping hand by distributing arm impairment/disability-friendly hair ties that provide a sense of independence and normality.

Our founder, Sulianne Mera, was born with an arm impairment that stopped her from doing what other people would consider easy, everyday tasks. From a young age, she used products that were supposed to aid her with such tasks, but one thing she had to learn on her own was how to tie her hair.

Sulianne thought, "Why don't I just make my own hair tie?" Thus, the birth of Handibandi. We are constantly improving our designs to aid those with further mobility issues.
